About Us
Overview
Llancayo House is a striking Regency building set in the beautiful Usk Valley. Following a recent renovation, facilities have been upgraded for everyone to enjoy. As it is a listed building, we have been careful to preserve as many original features as possible, whilst also adding modern innovations to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Please read some of our previous guest reviews for Llancayo House here.

The house is set in its own grounds (click here for more description), with access via high electric security gates, and tree-lined drive through our spinney. We offer free parking in our secure, well-lit private car park.

As one of our family members used a wheelchair, we fully appreciate the need for high quality and suitable accommodation which is accessible for wheelchair users. With this in mind, we have installed a platform lift which provides access to all the guest rooms on the first and second floors. Also, two of our rooms have full disabled facilities with alarm pulls and adjoining 'wet rooms', with wheel-in showers.

All rooms have been completely renovated with varnished original wooden floors, and offer en-suite facilities, with either a view of the Llancayo House paddock or the nearby Llancayo windmill. Every room has a fridge, broadband internet connection and a full HD flat screen Smart TV with Sky and Freeview channels.

Llancayo House is the ideal location to visit the scenic Welsh countryside, with easy road access to the nearby cities of Newport and Cardiff, and historic towns such as Abergavenny and Monmouth. If you like pursuits such as golf, fishing and cycling, or simply enjoy scenic walks, then facilities for these are literally on our doorstep.
